A Letter From the Student National Medical Association, Region 1
To everyone at the Physicians Medical Forum, The Student National Medical Association, Region 1 would like to thank you for your support of our annual Regional Medical Education Conference at the University of California, San Diego on November 4-6. We welcomed over 100 minority pre-medical and medical students to La Jolla for a memorable weekend as we explored the theme “Changing the Narrative: Rediscovering the Barriers to Health Equity.” Thanks to your generosity, conference attendees were able to participate in a variety of workshops, learn from highly-accomplished speakers, and network with physicians and other students across the region. All of the Region I board members deeply appreciate your monetary contribution to the conference, and your physical presence at the Exhibitors’ Fair Saturday afternoon. We look forward to continuing a relationship with your organization as SNMA grows and flourishes in the coming years. With gratitude, Daniel Woolridge Regional Director 2018 MD Candidate | University of California San Diego 2017 MPH Candidate | University of California Berkeley Tiana Woolridge 🙂 Regional Corporate Affairs Officer 2019 MD Candidate | University of California, San Francisco Derek Smith Regional Treasurer 2019 MD Candidate | University of California, San Francisco
