The Sutter Scholarship for Success, established by Sutter East Bay Medical Group (SEBMG) in 2020, supports the continuing education of Alameda and Contra Costa County students. Sponsored by Sutter Health’s Philanthropy Grants and Disbursement Program, this scholarship is intended to help local students become compassionate, responsible leaders in healthcare. Scholarships are awarded annually and are based on competitive review.
We will award $5,000 scholarships to undergraduate students in Alameda and Contra Costa counties who are planning a career as a physician (M.D. or D.O.), advanced practice clinician (P.A. or N.P.), nurse (R.N. or L.V.N.), or an allied health professional.
The scholarship will be disbursed directly to the students to be used in their area of greatest need.
