Special Guest Appearance

Chris Spencer

Actor, comedian, writer, and producer

Chris was the first host of the syndicated late night talk show Vibe, based on the magazine of the same name. He has gone on to star in several film projects such as “Don’t Be A Menace To South Central While Drinking Your Juice In The Hood,” “The Sixth Man,” “Significant Others,” and “Postal.”

He is also one of the most sought after writers having done projects with Wayans family, Jamie Foxx, and was significant in helping Nick Cannon create MTV’s “Wild ‘N Out.” Chris Spencer also travels the country as a standup comedian and has performed on “The Chris Rock Show,” “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and HBO’s “Def Comedy Jam.” Chris and fellow friends, Al Madrigal and Maz Jobrani are on a weekly podcast, “Minivan Men.” He is a writer for the scripted comedy, “The Real Husbands of Hollywood.”

Founded in 2002 as a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, PMF’s mission is to encourage and inspire the education, training, and resources for recruitment and retention of African-American/Black and underrepresented minority physicians; AND,

  • to provide an infrastructure that helps eliminate health disparities,
  • improve health equity and access in medical care,
  • and build generational healthiness for people in the Northern California Oakland/San Francisco Bay Area.

DOB Goals

The goal of the Doctors On Board Program® is to provide pipelines and pathways for students who want to become medical doctors. The pipelines of future doctors start in high school and include community college, college/university, post baccalaureate, medical school and residency.
