Medical Students

We are proud of Kaiser Permanente’s social mission, research, clinical expertise, and leadership efforts in helping communities thrive. As part of this mission, we recognize the potential of future physicians and their contributions by offering scholarships to rising fourth-year and fourth-year medical students selected for their demonstrated commitment to under-served communities.

The Auxiliary to the Sinkler Miller Medical Association offers annual scholarships to medical students who are African American.

• Applicants must be African American
• Applicants must have demonstrated leadership skills
• Applicants must have a strong academic record with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
• Awardee must be present at the reception to receive the scholarship
