On Sunday, December 8th, SNMA at UCSF hosted their “Medical Student for a Day Conference (MS4D)”, a low-cost, hands-on event aiming to provide low-income and underrepresented in medicine (UIM) students with the knowledge, skills, and resources to successfully apply to medical school and to inform them about a career in medicine.
The day consisted of interactive lessons in medical and surgical techniques, seminars on being a competitive applicant, MCAT preparation strategies, talks from prestigious faculty, mock medical school interviews and, of course, an introduction to the daily life of a medical student.”
Physicians Medical Forum (PMF) was proud to support UCSF SNMA and “Medical Student for a Day.”
