The Michigan Health Sciences Undergraduate Research Academy is a 10-week research fellowship program. The academy provides a research or clinical fellowship experience with a faculty mentor in alignment with students’ research and career interests.
Program Dates:
May 24, 2020 to August 1, 2020
Eligibility
- Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Have a valid U.S. social security number
- Have completed the first year of college
- Must have a minimum cumulative and science GPA of 3.0
Student Receives
- $4,000 stipend
- Room and board
- Experience in a research or clinical environment
- Leadership, professional development, and health disparities workshops
- Participate in a research symposium
