Physicians Medical Forum (PMF) is proud to partner with UC Davis School of Medicine and supports the California Medicine Scholars Program in the Greater Northern California Regional Healthcare Hub (GNCRHH) to co-create a pathway from community colleges to matriculation to UC Davis School of Medicine.
PMF continues its commitment to address a critical workforce disparity that has had a devastating impact on underserved urban, rural, and indigenous communities in California and elsewhere, particularly with the COVID-19 pandemic.
We celebrate that GNCRHH will support underrepresented minority students in medicine (URiM) at California community colleges to successfully transfer into a pre-medicine program at a GNCRHH partner university.
PMF will outreach, mentor, support, and provide networking resources to URiM students who are poised to become the physicians and healthcare professionals the California’s healthcare workforce needs the most and are:
- Black/ African American
- Latino/a
- Native American/Indigenous
- Pacific Islander
