The Michigan Health Sciences Undergraduate Research Academy

The Michigan Health Sciences Undergraduate Research Academy is a 10-week research fellowship program. The academy provides a research or clinical fellowship experience with a faculty mentor in alignment with students’ research and career interests.

Program Dates:

May 24, 2020 to August 1, 2020

Eligibility

  • Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
  • Have a valid U.S. social security number
  • Have completed the first year of college
  • Must have a minimum cumulative and science GPA of 3.0

Student Receives

  • $4,000 stipend
  • Room and board 
  • Experience in a research or clinical environment 
  • Leadership, professional development, and health disparities workshops
  • Participate in a research symposium
